Smiles all around
“From the region for the region” is the principle guiding the social commitment of Sparkasse Mainfranken Würzburg. The German financial institution frequently supports many local clubs and initiatives who are active in sports, the arts and social affairs. Donations and sponsoring often make these important activities possible in the first place. In Lower Franconia, about 1,000 cultural, athletic, social, scientific and environmental projects receive funding every year.
Sparkasse has now given 1,000 euros to Mix for Kids. The money is earmarked for Lachtränen, a Würzburg-based clown care association and one of the project partners of Mix for Kids. Clown doctors are specially trained performers, therapists and educators or people with a talent to entertain. They visit children in hospitals to spend a fun and joyful time with them and put a smile on the faces of the young patients. After all, laughter is the best medicine.
Big smiles all around also at the joint photo shoot when Inge Krämer and René Rose of Sparkasse Mainfranken Würzburg presented the symbolic donation check to Silke Wurlitzer and Sabine Schmidbauer of Mix for Kids.
