Weine für Vereine, or wines for associations as the campaign translates, is the latest brainchild of winemaker Michael Krauß, who has been running his own winery since 2020. Determined to lend a helping hand to charitable organizations from Abtswind, Germany, the 23-year-old is donating one euro from every bottle sold in his wine shop between July 1 and August 31, 2024. Wine lovers will be able to choose then and there which charity their money will go to, with Mix for Kids one of the associations involved. So now you can enjoy your Franconian wine while supporting aid projects for children in India, Albania and Germany.

Michael Krauß’s winery cultivates seven hectares of vines in the vineyards around Abtswind, growing varieties including Silvaner, Bacchus and Müller-Thurgau.
