For the third year in a row, the Wiesentheid Music and Singing Association 1862 e. V. held a New Year’s concert at the beginning of January. Part of the proceeds from the well-attended event will be used by the association, for example to promote its young musicians and equip the wind instrument class. The rest of the concert revenue will go to charitable aid projects in the local area that work abroad to support poor or needy people.

This year, the board of the music and singing association decided to donate €550 to the Mix for Kids association. According to the wishes of the first chairman, Heinz Dürner, and his deputy, Sabine Berthold, the money is to go specifically to Mix for Kids’ children’s aid projects, which support children in need by providing them with sufficient and healthy nutrition.

Mix for Kids is happy to comply with this request and is very grateful, as Bernhard Mix, second chairman of the association (left in the picture), emphasised at the symbolic cheque presentation.
