Sometimes you can’t see the wood for the trees. For Mix for Kids, however, Christmas trees told a different story entirely. To mark the start of the festive period, the association took to the parking lot of the Rewe supermarket in Wiesentheid, Germany, where they made holiday dreams come true with their beautiful Christmas trees. Also on sale were bratwurst, mulled wine and punch as well as spices and herbal teas. More than one supermarket customer also dropped some coins into the donation box.

Six hours later and the final profit was tallied up. A total of 945 euros was donated to the association, helping disadvantaged children and teenagers in Germany, India and Albania look forward to a better life in the future. Apprentices and dual-study students from the company Kräuter Mix actively supported Mix for Kids in carrying out the Christmas tree campaign.
