General meeting canceled
The Covid-19 pandemic has been on all of our minds for months now and has had a major impact on all our lives and how we live them. Events are canceled and people are only allowed to meet with restrictions in place.
In line with its statutes, Mix for Kids plans a general meeting once a year. This year, the meeting was originally scheduled to take place in spring and later postponed for fall in the hope that the situation would ease off. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. As a result, the Association’s board has made the decision to cancel this year’s general meeting without finding an alternative date. It was also taken into account that there will be no new elections to the board in 2020.
This is because protecting its members comes first for Mix for Kids. “We do not want to expose anyone to any unnecessary health risks,” explained the secretary and treasurer Sabine Schmidbauer. Nevertheless, all members can view all Association documents individually. At the end of the year, the Association’s approximately 100 members will receive a summary of the key activities, donations and projects in 2020 via e-mail.
