Kräuter Mix employees donated and pedalled for Mix for Kids projects

At the turn of 2025, the Mix for Kids association was once again delighted to receive two generous donations: both came from Kräuter Mix and the company’s employees.

Donating Christmas gifts

Firstly, the company offered its staff – as usual – the choice of a holiday present from a wide selection of gift cards. In addition to restaurant, Christmas tree and spa gift card, employees could choose to forego their 50-euro Christmas gift and instead donate the amount to children in need. 82 employees opted for the charitable donation, contributing a total of 4,100 euros to the Mix for Kids children’s aid projects. On top of that, the company generously rounded up this Christmas donation to 10,000 euros. Kräuter Mix had already decided years ago to forego customer gifts at Christmas and instead donate to a good cause.

Turning bicycle kilometres into donation kilometres

In addition, the participation of more than 50 Kräuter Mix employees in the nationwide ‘Cycle to Work’ campaign organized by the German health insurance company AOK, in 2025 again resulted in five-figure kilometres cycled, which are converted into a monetary donation by the specialist for air-dried herbs, spices, fruits and dried vegetables in an annual tradition: At 15 cents per kilometer, this year’s efforts resulted in a total of €4,128, which was also donated to the Mix for association. This is an impressive figure, as this total of kilometres cycled was even higher than in the previous year, which ultimately increased the amount donated.
