This year, the perfect place to buy your Christmas tree is from Mix for Kids. On Saturday, November 27, from 10 am to 4 pm, the association will be selling Christmas trees for a good cause in the parking lot of the Rewe supermarket at number 5 Korbacher Street in Wiesentheid, Germany. A wide range of freshly cut Nordmann firs and blue spruces from the Steigerwald Forest will be on offer in a good selection of sizes and at different prices. Each tree purchased will also come with a small gift, sponsored by the company Kräuter Mix.

On request, Mix for Kids will also deliver right to your door within a five-kilometer radius for a donation of five euros. Back at the fayre, bratwurst, mulled wine and punch will create that festive feeling and spices and herbal teas will also be on sale. All profits will go to helping disadvantaged children and teenagers in Germany, India and Albania through the association’s aid projects.

The Christmas tree campaign is supported by Rewe in Wiesenthied. Not only has store owner Dominik Bachmeier kindly lent Mix for Kids the space for the event, he is also providing a delivery truck and all the necessary equipment. Last but not least, Rewe are providing the Christmas trees, bratwurst and mulled wine to Mix for Kids at cost.
