Mix for Kids’ hometown of Abtswind, Germany, is gearing up for a debut event at the end of July when the Genussortfest (Town Festival of Indulgence) will take place for the very first time. Sunday, July 31, will see a multitude of different stalls throughout the town, where associations, promoters and businesses will invite visitors to taste and enjoy wine, game bratwurst, honey and cheese from 11 am to 8 pm.

Kräuter Mix, Mix for Kids’ largest sponsor, will host its own stall by the bus stop on the main street where it will offer guests a selection of refreshing summer drinks. Apprentices and employees will be selling homemade iced tea and cocktails – and providing information about the numerous apprenticeship and career opportunities at the company.

Proceeds from the drink sales will go to Mix for Kids to help disadvantaged children and teenagers. Members of the association will also be present at the Kräuter Mix stand throughout the day to inform visitors about the non-profit organization’s work.
